Fordham Brewing Company is calling all free thinkers to declare their independence, try something new and enter the world of craft beer.
Proving their appeal on the UK’s trendy bar scene as well as in a range of American diners, burger joints and respected restaurants around London, the FO word is now spreading further afield to Brighton, Bristol, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester and beyond. Fordham prides itself on offering one of the best introductions to the world of craft beers with a range that includes their increasingly popular Copperhead Ale (5.2% ABV); a brilliantly balanced Amber-style ale available in bottle and on draught; the refreshing Helles Lager at 5.4% ABV; wistfully wonderful Wisteria Wheat Beer (summer brew at 4% ABV); devilish Doppelbock at 8% ABV (winter brew) and the classic Tavern American Pale Ale (6.1% ABV).
Boldly new and representing a departure from Fordham’s characteristic session-ability brews is the Rams Head IPA. An aggressively hopped, West Coast style India Pale Ale that asserts its dominance with 75 IBUs and 7.5% ABV challenging drinkers to "Defy the ordinary. Take life by the horns.”
Originating in Maryland, USA in 1703 when Queen Anne knew you couldn’t start a colony without good local brews, the Fordham Brewing Company is now brewed in neighbouring state Delaware and are still renowned for the skillful and delicate balancing of hops and malts but most of all, pleasing the palettes of discerning beer drinkers.
So, if you’re a free thinker, look out for the FO Fordham sign in a pub or restaurant near you. For more details on stockists, click here
